We do not set cookies

There is no cookie on voicesnap.pro. No advertising cookie, no remarketing pixel, no ad network tag, no social media embed that phones home when a page loads. We do not run a session recorder, a heatmap tool, a chat widget or a customer-data platform, and no third party is allowed to attach its own tracking to your visit.

Analytics, and what they actually see

We use Fathom Analytics to count page views. Fathom is cookieless by design: it does not store anything in your browser, does not assign you an identifier that follows you between websites, and does not build a profile of you. What we get back is aggregate — how many people opened a page, which page sent them there, roughly which country they were in. There is no way for us to go from a number on that dashboard back to a person, and none of it is sold or shared with advertisers.

• Analytics load in production only. A local development build has none.

Why there is no consent banner

Consent banners exist because most sites store things that are not necessary for the site to work — almost always for advertising. Under the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR, that kind of storage needs your permission first. Storage that is strictly necessary to deliver something you asked for does not. The only things we write are the three flags listed above, and they exist purely to honour a choice you already made — closing a message, or joining the waitlist. There is nothing to ask you about, so we do not put a click between you and the page.

The VoiceSnap Pro app does not use cookies

This policy covers the website. The desktop app is not a browser and has no cookies at all. Audio is captured only while you hold the dictation shortcut, recordings are not retained after the transcript comes back, your notes library lives on your own machine, and nothing you dictate is used to train AI models. The privacy policy covers all of that in detail.

Clearing what is stored

Clearing site data for voicesnap.pro in your browser settings removes all three values immediately. Browsing in a private window has the same effect — everything is discarded when you close it. Nothing breaks if you clear them. The only consequence is that a promotional message you previously dismissed may show up once more.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add something that does set a cookie — a checkout provider at launch is the most likely candidate — this page is updated before it goes live, and the change is spelled out here rather than folded into a paragraph nobody reads. The date at the top of the page always reflects the last change.
