Notes

A notes app that fills itself in

Half of VoiceSnap Pro is the shortcut that types for you. The other half is what happens to the words afterwards: every one is kept, searchable, and yours to export.

Two ways in

Notes arrive whether or not you ask

Most notes apps only hold what you deliberately put in them. This one is also fed by the dictating you were doing anyway.

Automatically, as you dictate

Anything you dictate into another app is copied to the library as it happens, tagged with the app you sent it to and the time. You do not do anything extra, and you do not have to decide in the moment whether it is worth keeping.

Deliberately, with the notes shortcut

A second shortcut captures straight to the library instead of into whatever window has focus. Useful when there is no field to dictate into — walking, thinking, or halfway through something you do not want to interrupt.

By hand, when your hands are free

Type a note like you would anywhere else. Voice-captured and typed notes live in one list, sort together and search together — there is no separate 'voice' section to remember to check.

Notes are text, not recordings

Audio is sent for transcription and then discarded. VoiceSnap Pro does not keep a recording, so there is nothing to play back and nothing to leak later.

That is a deliberate trade. You lose the ability to re-listen to a note and catch a word the transcript got wrong. You gain a library that is plain text end to end: greppable, exportable, diffable, and small enough that it is never a storage decision.

The duration shown on a note is how long you spoke, not the length of a file you can open.

Finding things

Search by what you said

You will not remember the title, because you never wrote one. You will remember a phrase.

Full text, not filenames

Every word of every note is indexed, including the dictations that went out to other apps.

Filter by app

Show only what you dictated into Slack, or Gmail, or your editor.

Filter by day

Everything from Tuesday, in the order you said it.

Pin and tag

Keep the handful you keep coming back to at the top.

Getting things out

It leaves as easily as it arrives

A note, a day, or the whole library exports as plain text or Markdown. A week of dictated fragments becomes a document without being retyped.

There is no proprietary container and no export tier. If you stop using VoiceSnap Pro, your notes come with you in a format anything can read.

  • Copy a single note back to the clipboard
  • Export a day, a search result, or everything
  • Plain text or Markdown, with or without the app and time metadata
  • Files land where you choose — nothing is uploaded to us

Questions about notes

The notes write themselves. You just talk.
