Private testing

VoiceSnap Pro isn't ready to download yet

There is no installer to hand you today. The macOS and Windows builds are in private testing, and we would rather say that plainly than put a Download button in front of a form. Leave your email and you get one message the day VoiceSnap Pro ships — with both download links and the founding price already applied.

One launch email. No newsletter, no sharing your address.

No payment, no account, no card. An email address is the whole thing.

Launch day

What you get when it ships

Three concrete things, all of which follow from being on the list before the public release.

The founding price, locked in

VoiceSnap Pro is a one-time purchase: $39 once, not $39 a year. Everyone on this list gets the founding discount at launch — 30% off, so $27.30 instead of $39 — and the code arrives inside the launch email, so there is nothing to watch for and nothing to pay now.

  • $27.30 instead of $39, one payment
  • No subscription and no per-minute billing
  • Two licences — one for you, one to pass on
  • Lifetime updates included

Both platforms, same day

macOS and Windows are built together and released together. The Mac build is one universal app that runs natively on Apple silicon and on Intel — there is no separate download to pick. Your licence is not tied to an operating system, so the laptop and the desktop PC can both be yours.

  • macOS 13 Ventura or later, Apple silicon and Intel
  • Windows 11, or Windows 10 version 21H2 and newer
  • One licence, either platform, same keyboard shortcut
  • Same features on both — not a cut-down Windows port

One email, and nothing else

Being on the list before the public release means you hear on the day it ships, from a single message with both download links and the founding-price code already in it. There is no newsletter in between, no countdown sequence and no second announcement to watch for — so there is no reason to check this page again.

  • One message, sent on release day
  • Both download links and the founding-price code in it
  • No newsletter, no drip sequence, no reminders
  • An unsubscribe link in it, and deletion on request

System requirements

These are the target requirements for VoiceSnap Pro 1.0, the first public release. They are not final until the build ships — if any of them move, the launch email will say so before you install anything.

macOS

  • macOS 13 Ventura or later
  • Apple silicon (M1 and newer) or Intel — one universal build covers both
  • Around 200 MB of free disk space
  • macOS asks for microphone access the first time you dictate

Windows

  • Windows 11, or Windows 10 version 21H2 and newer
  • Around 200 MB of free disk space
  • Windows asks for microphone access the first time you dictate
  • Works in desktop apps and in the browser — Outlook, Slack, Word, a form

Both platforms need

A working microphone

The built-in one is fine in a quiet room. A headset or USB mic gives the transcriber a cleaner signal in an open office, which shows up as fewer corrections.

About 200 MB of free disk space

That is the app itself. The notes library grows with what you dictate, but it stores text, not audio, so it stays small even after months of use.

An internet connection

Transcription runs in the cloud, so VoiceSnap Pro needs to be online while you speak. Nothing you dictate is used to train AI models.

The whole sequence

What happens after you sign up

Three things, and the middle one is silence — there is nothing to follow between signing up and launch day.

  1. Your address goes on the list

We store the email address and which page you signed up from. That is the entire record — no name, no company, no tracking pixel in the emails, no advertising audience. Signing up twice does not put you on twice.

  2. Then nothing, for a while

No welcome sequence, no monthly progress note, no reminders that we are still working on it. The build stays in private, invitation-only testing until it is ready, and there is nothing you need to follow in the meantime.

  3. One launch email

The day VoiceSnap Pro ships you get one message: the macOS download, the Windows download, the founding-price code, and a link to the getting-started guide. After that there is nothing left to receive.

This is not a newsletter

No weekly tips, no product roundups, no re-engagement campaign. One launch email, with an unsubscribe link in it. Ask us to delete your address and it is gone, not archived.

Meanwhile

While you wait

Three things you can do today that do not require an installer.

Dictate in your browser, free

The Voice Typing tool runs in this tab right now. Same idea as VoiceSnap Pro — speak, get punctuated text — minus the part where the text lands in whatever app you were already using. Good for a paragraph or two, and a fair test of whether talking beats typing for you.

Open Voice Typing

Read the manual before you install

The documentation is already written: how dictating into any app works, the voice commands for formatting, how custom vocabulary handles names and acronyms, how the notes library search works, and what happens to your audio. Ten minutes now is nothing to learn on launch day.

Read the documentation

See how it differs from what you use now

Side-by-side breakdowns against Apple Dictation, Windows Voice Typing, Dragon, Otter.ai, Wispr Flow and superwhisper — what each one actually does, which ones bill monthly, and where VoiceSnap Pro is genuinely different rather than just newer.

One email, the day it ships

That is the deal. Your address, one launch email, and the founding price of $27.30 instead of $39.

One launch email. No newsletter, no sharing your address.

Takes about four seconds.
